Bēsu began where most skincare stories end — with someone who had given up.
After a lifetime of navigating sensitive, reactive skin, through flares, fatigue, and a bathroom shelf full of products that didn't deliver, Carmen de Souza had all but given up on her skin.
There is a particular exhaustion that comes with feeling that you have tried everything, and yet still your skin is problematic.
When her skin hit its lowest point in mid 2023, Carmen reached out to a commercial skincare formulator friend for help, unaware that this pivitol moment would chnage the course of her skin.

What came next was radical in its simplicity.
